Now it’s working fine. Sunday, May 27, Friday, July 6, 8: Sunday, March 25, 4: I suspect the new drivers fixed the problem. Unless it is the driver for the LAN card at fault, but I aurties see a more recent driver for it and Samsung haven’t sent or suggested I need one.
Remove From My Forums. Monday, September 10, 6: Wednesday, November 14, Monday, December 4, 8: Like visra the other people having this trouble, I’ve had no problems whatsoever running this kit in XP, so hopefully it is a niggle in the new Vista network code or a compatibility problem with using the XP drivers, I’m certainly not willing to replace any of my wireless kit simply to run Vista.
I’m the type of guy that helps everybody else with their computer problems and I usually get the job done, but not this time.

Driver is updated to latest. I tried installing a later wireless driver, which again let me connect but as soon as my computer awoke from sleep it no longer connected.
Unable to connect with WPA active in Vista
There are consistent reports of wux and sporadic connection with WPA, but the connections are not consistent or reliable. I hope they haven’t just assumed it is faulty without tetsing it, or that they make sure the replace it with a different make, as otherwise I can’t see why I won’t have the same problem.
I dechecked IPV6 too. Belkin, Netgear, now TrendNet.

Intel now have a version I am trying to connect to my university’s wireless network with my laptop, worked fine under XP but since installing vista i can detect the network and it asks me to input my user name and password, when i click ok the box just pops back up to enter user name etc.
I am new to vista though. When I checked out Belkin’s website regarding compability of my router with Vista – it indicated that Vista would have the driver required already included. I have not seen any mention of it on the download site and would like to try it to see if I can get my laptop to connect to my WPA enabled router. If i disable WPA security on the router it connects no problem.
It took a couple of attempts to establish the connection initially but now, after several reboots in different locations, it seems to work every time.
You’ll receive it within 6 businness hours. I try to download the vista patches that you guys list, but still can’t connect. Could anyone please post the hotfix number?
Doesn’t work here either. I have several machines, Toshiba, Dell that all have the exact same issue on Vista. I thought I had solved it disabling IPv6 because it worked just one time but yesterday I started Vista and still cannot connect to my router.
