Problem burning data DVDs with pics/videos/movies etc. .. Please help
My DVD drive came back to life. Had cdrommatshitz same problem, but thank to you, it solved it. Editing the registry worked for me on my acer laptop.
Possibly a coincidence, but maybe not. It may be required to restart your computer after the process is complete.
Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. Tuesday, April 8, 5: I confirm your recipe works! Worked great on my 2 year old asus computer.
Saturday, March 8, 1: Quit Registry Dvx-ram, and then restart the computer. Sunday, August 19, 3: The drive stopped working after a reinstall of the OS. Tuesday, March 10, 4: Reply Helpful Thread reply – more options Link to this Post.
Matshita DVD Ram Ujas Driver [Solved]
If you saw a post I had published before, you can infer that the roxio software is some sort of program that allows the roght functionality of the complete driver. I have a similar drive with a different problem. The LowerFilters dvx-ram entry is removed. I have uj-8850s Acer Cdrommarshita running Vista Ultimate. I don’t know what computer you have, but if you have a sony-vaio you might try to reinstall the roxio program through the sony restore application that’s how I did it.
Saturday, December 27, 2: Sunday, March 21, 2: Possibly a coincidence, but maybe not. I had this exact same problem with my last toshiba satellite, an A I had to delete the upper and lower filters and then reboot and magically worked!
I switched fro vista to XP. I wanted to try your way, but there are no UpperFilters or LowerFilters in my registry. It is interisting that this is not yet an “official” method of solving problem. Thanks for the info.
Saturday, September 15, 3: Also, if you attempt to remove entries in the registry without going thru Psexec, the registry will not let you remove certain Legacy entries. Deleting upper filters did not work.
I totally take it back! Sunday, January 4, Proposed as answer by igor lalic.
I have a Toshiba Satellite R10 Tablet PC and I haven’t seen anyone on the thread yet that mentioned whether they tried using this technique for other Matshita drives or not.
